Cross Training

Every Wednesday, year around (excluding cerain holidays - see calendar), at 6:38 pm in our Teen Room.

This is a time to relax and connect with each other and the One in whom we find our rest and purpose. Come find a retreat from your regular busy schedules and responsibilities through a variety of games and activities, a wide assortment of coffee and soda drinks from our espresso counter, a meaningful time of worship and study as Pastor Amy brings a weekly message of grace and hope.

Our world offerst students a million choices, but no guidance on how to choose what is good for them and others. This is a safe place where teens can feel like they belong and can begin to ask tough life questions and learn how to choose well. It is probably also the best place to come to introduce yourself to what we, and the Christian Faith, are all about.

Immersion

Sundays, 5 p.m., in the Teen Room.

This is for the student who is looking for a bit more, who is ready to explore the depths of our God and seeks Christian maturity through coporate prayer and confession, group discussions, Bible study, and leadership skills development. Regular Immersion students begin to give back to their peers through leadership responsibilities at Cross Training (above) and our service projects (below).

Sunday School

Sundays, 9 a.m., in the Teen Room

An essential aspect of growing in faith is through the study of Scripture. That is pretty much what this is about. A good knowledge of God's written word helps us put what we say we believe into practical action.

Outreach and Service Projects

Christ loved and cared for the forgotten and the marginalized. He served the needy as if they were kings and queens. As Christ's followers, we desire to do as Christ did. We are not perfect in this, but we do our best through the following regular outreach and service projects.

MISSION TRIPS

Once a year, during the Summer, we take a major mission trip. In the past we have gone to Tijuana, Mexico, with Amore Ministries and built homes for families in need and offered a Vacation Bible School to the children in the neighborhood. Through trips like this we learn what it means to live for something biffer than our selfish desires and be the hands and geet of Jesus to people in need aroung the world.

FEED THE HUNGRY

Four times a year (the dates vary, depending on availability and need, see our Calendar for specifics) we go to the Salvation Army kitchen downtown and prepare a meal for the hungry of our own city, because we don't have to go to another country to find people in need of Christ's love.

CHURCH ON THE STREET

We also regularly meet with our friends who are doing amazing things for the people on the streets of Prescott and help them help the needy and hold worship services for the people in the rehab program. Here we see that Christians have a real role to play in healing our world.

Other Activities

Everything we do here has a purpose. We know that families are increasingly busy and wish to respect your family time. Therefore, every activity we offer will be filtered through our purpose statement. Each activity will meet at least one core value (Equip, Reach Worship, Connect and Serve, see the "What We're About" page) or possibly more.

Not only do we have values driving our activities, but we also attempt to balance each value. Sure, it would be great to just fave fun with other students (Connect), but we know that other purposes are just as important and must be given equal time.

Please see our Calandar for upcoming events and times.
